Bulgurian Split Squats


  • the back leg is attracted backwards when moving down
  • when moving down sit back - the weight is not on the toes
  • the knee does not extend over the tiptoe
  • because our goal with this exercise is to load primarily the quads, do not go below the parallel (hip under knee level)
  • rest your metatarsus (instep) on the bench, not only tiptoe
  • inhale on the way down, exhale on the way up
  • use of external weight is optional (dumbbells, weighted vest, KB, barbell racked front or back)
