• always keep your feet as much together as possible
  • in lunge forward the knee must not extend over the tiptoe
  • keep the weight divided between both legs (the weight goes straight down below the body)
  • lift your legs as little from the ground as possible, rather shift them on the ground
  • in the bottom position the knee may touch the ground for improved stability
  • perform the movement slowly, especially if you are not fully familiar with it
  • on the picture an external weight is used, which is however optional
